It is worth keeping a track of the foods you eat and then see if there is a resulting increase in your acne. This way you can find out if there are any elements of your diet that affect your own acne.
If you find that you can't keep control of your acne through over the counter methods or prescriptions, then you may consider herbal remedies. These may take a little longer to take affect but many sufferers of acne have spoken of positive results after using herbal remedies.
It is also a good idea to try and find out exactly how severe your acne is, because as mentioned above everyone's acne is different. Acne can range from mild to very severe so you should know what you suffer from so that you can best treat and control your acne.
